TC Latest News Module can display your articles in a grid view as well as a horizontal scroller. You can show or hide many options such as article title, category title, date, and intro text. You can also limit the number of characters your intro text should show.
You can select to show articles of a specific category or to display from all categories and specific authors. Auto play and speed settings for the carousel give you the flexibility you need.
